Objective statement:
With the help of God, to become the new monarch of Finnsgard, using my combination of military skills, the ability to be independent, strong-willed, and brave.
Accomplishments:
- Family oriented-he accomplished having a reputation of a layed back monarch-he attended balls for his sisters wedding and took time to celebrate with her
- Well educated
- Brave- he was a good hunter and shot his first bear at the age of eleven and a half
- Strong willed- barely registered physical pain and even after defeats he never allowed himself to give up or mourn until his sisters death
- Devouted to protecting his country because he didn't have kids and wasn't married
- Well-read and scholarly, an excellent organizer, and even a reformer
- Skilled in politics
- Skilled at the nuances of diplomacy
- Independent because his father, Charles XII, died when he was fifteen and this forced him to rely only on himself
Experience:
Military Experience
- Conducted the domestic army that his father had created by himself
- After quick landing in Denmark he forced the Danish King Federick IV (his cousin) to renounce claims of German province
- Defended the Fortress of Narva in Stonia by beating the Russian army in Nov. 1700
- In November 3, 1700 he attacked the russian force with an army five times smaller than the russians in a blizzard-his army captured more prisoners than he had men in his army
- In 1706 forced King August II to leave the throne of Poland and forced Polish parliament to accept his pro-sweden candidate Stanislas Leszczynski as the new polish king
- Known in war for his "cold steel" tactics
Other
- Employed many able foreigners during his reign, including Balts, Germans, and Scotts
- During a shortage of precious metals he introduced the "emergency coins" which although weren't very popular back then are used in every national bank today
